Attorney Bio:

Alan M. Klein was born in 1947 at Brooklyn, New York.  He attended the University of Toledo and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1969.  For the next ten years, Alan worked in various accounting and financial positions for Fortune 500 companies in the retail, manufacturing and transportation industries.

In 1980 Alan obtained a Jurist Doctor (JD) Degree from Whittier College School of Law.  Alan opened his office for the practice of law following graduation, and has been actively and continuously practicing law in the Los Angeles area since 1980.  

Although the majority of cases settle prior to trial, Alan has successfully tried over 150 cases, including both bench and jury trials, in Federal and State courts.  He has significant experience handling matters such as commercial contract disputes, business torts, including claims of fraud, defamation, misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark and service mark infringement,  employment claims ( such as wrongful termination and sexual harassment suits), transportation claims and family law matters.

Alan is admitted to practice law in all state courts in California and most Federal District courts in California.  Alan is a member of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
